THE SHAKIEST GUN IN THE WEST
Composed by Vic Mizzy

Percepto goes Westward Ho for our final release from the catalogue of Vic Mizzy with THE SHAKIEST GUN IN THE WEST, the 1967 comic chestnut starring Don Knotts as a hapless dentist bungling his way through the Old West.

This rollicking third entry in the composer's quintet of scores for Knotts is a full-throttle comedy-western assault as rousing as Elmer Bernstein's MAGNIFICENT 7 and Jerome Moross' THE BIG COUNTRY, only tailored to the incomparable musical stylings of maestro Mizzy.

This rootin' tootin' release contains every note of Mizzy's score, plus the usual cache of rare bonus tracks, digitally remastered from the composer's own private original master tapes.

As is the Percepto standard, we've spared no expense with the full-color booklet by filling it with rare photos, behind-the-scenes production info and the usual insightful shoot-from-the-hip quips from Mizzy himself.

So strap on your six-shooter, turn up the volume and revisit the Old West Mizzy-style!
